On Friday, 11 November, Kalkallo Prep students invited their parents to see their learning in action in the Prep Showcase. Parents and students enjoyed participating in a science experiment that was in line with what the students are currently learning in Science - objects are made of materials with observable properties.

The students and their parents had to form and record a hypothesis (guess) about what they thought would happen to different materials when water was added to them. They were then able to test out their hypothesis with a range of materials and an eye dropper. Students then recorded what happened. Students were delighted as they watched their predictions come to fruition and equally amazed when their guesses were incorrect.

Thank to you all the parents that were able to come in. It was so lovely welcoming parents back into the classroom.
