Imagination … creativity … curiosity … building … making meaningful connections … collaboration …a balance of mind, body and spirit …
This is what is in store for students Prep - Year 10 in the last two weeks of Term 4.
Let Your Colours Shine! is a series of days designed to celebrate our students and reflect on what has been a vastly different year. At each year level, in every learning domain and with pastoral considerations very much at the fore, students will engage in a variety of thoughtfully prepared, exciting sessions designed to enhance their experiences at Hume Anglican Grammar and give expression to the School’s core values of resilience, personal integrity and making learning … fun.
Every single teacher has been involved in designing and organising this project with the goal of creating a highlight to be remembered by our whole School Community. We hope all students finish the year feeling uplifted with a wonderful sense of accomplishment.
Some highlights:
Let Your Colours Shine - Primary
Primary students at the Donnybrook and Mt Ridley campuses will begin preparations in Week 8, with most of the learning highlights culminating in Week 9.
The exciting program planned by the Donnybrook team for the Prep - Year 4 students should further enhance the sense of community and connection at the campus. The students will:

Engage in integrated Science and technology activities where understanding will be extended through music, construction activities, programming Spheros and Beebots and using iPads to read QR codes and solve problems.
Learn about Japanese culture and our indigenous heritage.
Develop creative and critical thinking, problem solving, social skills and learn about teamwork as they engage in learning with their peers on-site at the campus and further afield at the newly created Gumnut Park.
At our Mt Ridley campus, Prep - Year 6 students will engage in a range of different learning activities at each year level. Teachers have designed a wide range of learning, so children will have the opportunity to:
