Action-Packed Term 4 - Mt Ridley

After 3 well deserved weeks of rest and relaxation it was wonderful to see the smiling faces of our students and even bigger smiles on the faces of their parents. Term 4 promises to be action packed so buckle up and enjoy the ride! We have a number of significant events, starting with our Book Week parade and finishing with our Primary Presentation ceremony with lots in between.

You will have noticed the significant works being undertaken in the main carpark. These works are necessary and will ultimately benefit us all once completed. We ask that you continue to remain patient and vigilant when dropping off and picking up as safety is and always will be our number one priority.

Ongoing improvements and upgrades have continued during the holidays with the Prep playground having a face lift (new drainage, ground levelling, fresh soft fall bark and sandpit revamp) with further additions planned in the coming months. We also eagerly await new painted fitness course stencils on the driveway between the Prep Centre and the Year 5/6 Centre to encourage our students to get active and improve their overall fitness and coordination.

Finally, may I please remind all that we have now moved to our Summer Uniform. There will be some flexibility for a short period of time (1 – 2 weeks) as we wait for warmer weather, however, full school summer uniform is expected to be worn correctly throughout Term 4. Please refer to our Uniform Policy available on our website.

I wish everyone a positive and enjoyable term and look forward to the many opportunities on offer.

Luke Friend - Assistant Principal – Primary (Mt Ridley)
