Year 6 Volleyball - Mt Ridley

A team of 10 Year 6 boys represented the school at the Woodlands Divisional Final on Monday, 10 October.

The boys narrowly lost their first match in what was a very entertaining game. Impressively, they came back from a set down to win their second match in an absolute nail biter. The energy any hype continued into their third match, which was a seesawing event. After trading points and losing their first set, the boys came back to level the match at one set all. Unfortunately, they came up short in the third set after their opponent’s gained momentum. They faced a daunting task in their final match, coming up against an undefeated (and much taller) team. This did not deter them, and the boys maintained a positive attitude, although the result did not go their way.

I would like to commend the boys on their effort, sportsmanship and attitude throughout the day. They were humble in victory and defeat and should be very proud of the way they represented the school.
