Disney's The Lion King Jr
During Weeks 7 and 8, our Sports Centre transformed into a marvellous theatre space as each of our Primary students across the Mt Ridley, Donnybrook and Kalkallo campuses performed Disney’s The Lion King Jr.
Each group put on a stunning performance, showcasing their movement skills and wonderful costumes, which some students helped to create or even designed themselves.
What a treat it was to work with such perceptive, engaging Lead Roles, who wowed the audience with their excellent stagecraft and worked hard at lunchtime, after school and weekend rehearsals. Other highlights include the Dance Ensembles, who showcased their outstanding dance skills and the Performance Choir who performed on all six nights and really made the Production come to life with their brilliant voices.
Congratulations to each and every student for being a part of this amazing show. I hope this experience will be one that stays with you for years to come.
