Donnybrook Campus 2022
Donnybrook Campus returned this week welcoming back students and staff as well as greeting many new staff and students. Students were excited to return to school and catch up with their friends along with meeting new friends. Thursday, 3 February saw 84 Prep students join the Years 1 - 6 students. The opening of Building D (the Year 5/6 Centre) along with welcoming students and staff from the Kalkallo Campus was exciting. A fantastic start to the 2022 academic year.
At the Commencement Service, I spoke about Unity and Diversity in the body which Rev Peter shared with us previously in Chapel. It was about how a body has many parts and needs each part to work together. That is like our School. Hume Anglican Grammar is made up of many parts; parents, students, teachers, admin, enrolments, facilities, maintenance, Principal, Donnybrook Campus, Mt Ridley Campus, Kalkallo Campus (along with the builders and architects building and designing our amazing school). It is important to remember we need all parts to work together and look out for each other.
We look forward to a rewarding and special 2022 as we continue to grow our campus and work together as a community.
