Hume Anglican Grammar is a multi-campus co-educational Anglican Diocesan School offering education from Prep to Year 12 in the Northern growth corridor of Melbourne.

  • Hume Anglican Grammar has an open enrolment policy so educates children from many faiths and with a diverse range of backgrounds and abilities.
  • In 2023, the School will open its third campus in Kalkallo, as a Primary (P-6) school. In 2022, the first classes for the new campus have commenced and are being accommodated at the Donnybrook campus, to then move to the new site in 2023.
  • The school is on a growth trajectory and in 2023 is expected to increase to 2,265 students and ultimately have some 3,300 students (Mt Ridley 1,400, Donnybrook 1,300 and Kalkallo 600) with a corresponding cohort of teaching and general staff on its three campuses with plans for further expansion.

Coordinator of Community Engagement
Hume now calls for an experienced and energetic candidate to fulfil our newly created position of Coordinator of Community Engagement. The position is full-time ongoing working at our Mt Ridley campus in Mickleham with the need to travel to alternate campuses as required.

Working across a number of areas including event management, alumni engagement, philanthropy and community relations, the Coordinator of Community Engagement will implement strategies that enhance communication and build positive and meaningful relationships throughout our school community. 

Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • Liaising with our Parents and Friends Association
  • Event Coordination
  • Alumni management
  • Philanthropic endeavours
  • Establishing, nurturing and maintaining positive external relationships with our school and wider community
  • Additional administration duties as required within a school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks, meet prescribed deadlines, and concurrently manage a number of tasks
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in planning and running events
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Cultivates trust, credibility and honesty

The Hume Anglican Grammar Agreement 2019 classifies this position as General Staff Level 4.

The position is entitled to 5 weeks paid annual leave and takes 2 weeks unpaid leave. The following annual salary sub-level offered will be determined by the successful candidates experience in a like role and relevant qualifications. (The salary noted below includes leave loading and has 2 weeks leave deducted). Plus superannuation. 

4.1       $74,665 

4.2       $76,904 

4.3       $79,213 

4.4       $81,626
