Prep students have completed stage three of the Little Learners Love Literacy Program. To celebrate their achievement of learning all the letters and sounds of the alphabet students had a very special dress-up party! Students came to school dressed as their favourite character from Milo’s Birthday Surprise. They showed off their animal outfits by orally presenting which character they were to their class.

Students segmented and blended words to create fantastic writing pieces accompanied by detailed pictures which were then collated into a class book. Students were able to show their amazing skills by practicing reading to a partner.

The day ended with a fun dance party, this involved all the Prep students from both Donnybrook and Kalkallo. It was great to see the students celebrating their achievements with their peers.
