Senator Profile - Sandra Zaya
Hello Everyone! My name is Sandra Zaya, and I am one of the proud Year 10 Senators this year. I have had to opportunity to take on a number of leadership roles in the past and it's what I love to do. As a senator, I wanted to be the voice for my peers. I want to be the one they can come to for anything, and I want to represent my peers in the best way possible. Leaders play a very important role in society. Leaders pave the way for others to follow and they try to do this in the most effective way. My biggest aim right now as a senator for the Year 10s, is to create the most suitable and efficient learning environment for us, so we can strive together and actively prepare ourselves for VCE next year to make the transition as easy as possible for my peers.
Here are a couple things about me, so you all can get to know me a little better. I have three brothers Michael, Jacob and Justin. I am a swimmer and have been swimming for the past 11 years of my life. In my spare time, I love to talk to friends and watch Movies and TV shows. I also love to go shopping and hang out with my cousins. My favourite subjects at the moment would have to be Biology and Mathematics.
