To celebrate Wellbeing Week, Year 11 and 12 students were encouraged to start each day with a short mindfulness activity, which saw many of them try mindful breathing, colouring, yoga or a mindful walk.
Students also participated in a presentation by Red Frogs Australia, where they explored ways to keep themselves and their friends safe in social situations. Red Frogs is a support program that exists to serve and safeguard young people, to help them navigate and make good decisions around issues such as alcohol, drugs, social media and other pressures. The students also appreciated the red frog lollies they received during the workshop!
The week ended with a very popular lunchtime trivia competition. The students were entertained by a special guest host (our very own School Registrar, Mr Luczek) and enjoyed friendly rivalry and yummy snacks. The stakes were high and the competition was close! Most importantly, lots of fun was had by all. It was a lovely way to end Wellbeing Week for our Senior students.
