Year 7 Hockey
On Thursday, 27 October our Year 7 Mixed Hockey team took to the Greensborough Hockey Centre to compete in the Regional Championships. After winning their first two games against Hazel Glen (5-0) and Princes Hill (8-0), they progressed to the Final against Northcote, winning this match 5-0.
Harseerat Kaur was awarded Best on Ground for the day and Jashandeep Singh Deol was the leading goal scorer, having scored 10 goals out of 18. The team also received high praise for their skill and sportsmanship by Hockey Victoria officials.
We wish the team the best of luck as they progress to the State Championships, which will be held on Tuesday, 15 November.
