What a wonderful day we experienced for what was a very successful Primary school House Athletics Carnival, on Friday, 30 July, at Meadowglen Athletics Stadium.
The day started out quite windy and very cold, however, the sun did come out throughout the day, even if the wind didn’t stop.
The enthusiasm and participation from our students was simply outstanding and has been widely commented on by various staff. The students showed excellent skills and wonderful perseverance during the carnival when participating in all the track and field events.
Many thanks to all the staff members who supervised, measured, marshalled, judged, timed, recorded and encouraged the students.
A number of students will now be selected to represent our school at the Green Gully district Athletics carnival in August.
Congratulations to all Year 3 – 6 students on a super day of athletics. It was a day filled with fun and many wonderful achievements. The House spirit was alive and well.
